As a mom of all boys, how much should I worry about this? Does it affect all kids at about the same rate?
CMO at AuraHi momlovesbravo - thanks for the important question and sorry for the delayed response! I wish that I could say that these kinds of challenges don't affect boys, but that's not the case. According to a recent report, the most common form of sextortion is financial sextortion targeting boys aged 14-17. So, if anything, boys might be even more susceptible to these kinds of problematic digital crime. The take home message here - there are risks for all kids and parents and their children should have open and honest dialogue about safe practices in a digital world...
