How do you tackle the topic of cyberbulling with your kids?

What do you think is the most effective way for parents to address cyberbullying with their children?

  1. Create an open dialogue and encourage kids to share their experiences
  2. Set clear rules for online behavior 
  3. Teach kids how to block, report, and document cyberbullying incidents
  4. Monitor children’s online activity with parental controls
  5. Be a role model for respectful and kind online behavior

    I would vote number one  "Create an open dialogue and encourage kids to share their experiences" all the way!

    We definitely have rules and talk about it. It seems to be pretty bad at my son's school so we try to stay on top of it. One of our rules is any social media MUST be private and he only ads his real life friends and family members, with all unknown messages blocked!
